You’ll maintain 100% ownership of your brand assets. This includes your domain name, your logo, your photography, and every word of content we write for you. We’ll even walk you through the domain registration process to ensure your URL is in your name and under your direct control from day one.

The website itself—the custom code, technical architecture, and proprietary design framework—would be products and services provided by Firefly Studios. Let’s use a high-end lease on a sports car as an analogy: You own the contents, cargo, and the driver’s license, but we provide and maintain the vehicle. If you choose to lease a different car, you’d take your contents and cargo with you—and we’d make that transfer as painless as possible—but we’d keep the Porsche.

We only suggest the monthly packages because we’ve found them to be the most effective way to keep a website healthy and avoid the “launch and forget” stagnation that kills most small business sites. However, if you prefer a traditional upfront project fee, we can certainly provide a quote for that.

However, because we deliver a high-tier, custom-built site upfront without a massive initial fee, there is a one-year baseline agreement to start. This allows us to recoup the intensive build energy required to launch a top-performing site while keeping your entry costs low. Yes. Your first monthly payment will be due at project kickoff. This will secure your spot in our schedule and allow us to begin work immediately.

Yes. Every invoice from Firefly is clearly itemized with plain-language descriptions of what you’re paying for. If anything ever needs clarification, we’ll walk through it with you—either over email, a call, or a quick chat—so you always know exactly what’s included and why.

We handle the heavy lifting, but we’ll need a few “raw materials” to kick off the project:

• Access: If you have an existing site, we’ll need the login credentials for your current host to manage the transition smoothly.
• Branding: High-resolution files of your logo and any existing brand guidelines.
• Context: Any existing brochures, old site content, or documents that help us understand your services and voice.
• Insight: We ask for two short lists:
  • Local competitors: Who are we going up against in the search results?
  • Inspiration: A few examples of websites or design styles you admire.

Once we have these pieces, we’ll look after everything else—from the technical architecture to the final content design.

Quality design takes time, but we don’t believe in development purgatory. For most SMB projects, we aim for a 4- to 6-week window from the moment we have your onboarding materials to the day we launch. Because our monthly plans include the build energy upfront, your subscription usually begins at the project kickoff. However, exact launch timelines are based on site complexity and how many projects are in the queue. All milestones and deadlines will be agreed upon before project kick-off.

No honest agency can guarantee a #1 spot, as search algorithms are constantly evolving. However, our monthly plans ensure your site will be built to rank. We’ll handle the big on-site elements—content design, logical architecture, positive UX, proper header structures, metadata, and speed optimization—that search engines require.
